Don’t know what it is… but it seems that I can’t even commit to the extremely low required commitment level of tumblr.

… let’s try this again. Since this tumblog has been pretty gaming focused, I’m probably gonna stick with that for a bit.

Sooooo… stoked about this fall’s gaming lineup. Here are a couple that are rounding out this month:

Fable 2 - Seriously, Peter Molyneux could sell milk to a cow. And if this game lives up to even half of his promises, it should make for some seriously good gaming.

Fallout 3 - I was always a big fan of the original, and I got seriously addicted to oblivion last year. This just seems too perfect. Interested in seeing how the VATS from the original game makes its transition to a shooter.

Spider-man: Web of Shadows - Me, along with a ton of spidey fans have been waiting for the true sequel to Spider-man 2 on the PS2. That game was the first to bring the true feeling of the webhead’s movements into the 3d space. But it’s been sequel after mediocre sequel that’s lowered my expectations for this one quite a bit.

Far Cry 2: Sequel to what I think is a very underrated, overlooked game. The first Far Cry wasn’t just pretty… it had some pretty intense jungle combat with some good AI to back it up. It looks like the sequel is going to try much what the PC game STALKER tried with its open world and “RPG-like” questing. Takes place in Africa, which is a pretty unique setting for an FPS. Not a must-buy for me… but I’m interested to see how it reviews.

… I beat GTA IV. One hell of a ride. Maybe now I can open my eyes and smell reality again. How’s that for a terrible metaphor.
